Groundnutseed, oil and RBD Palm oil down

Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil along with RBD palm oil eased today on lack of demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds (per quintal), groundnutseed eased by Rs 25 per quintal on sluggish demand from bulk consumers.

Castorseed Disa also fell by Rs 50 per quintal on poor offtake.

While cstorseed Bombay improved by Rs 5 per quinal on improved demand by dealers.

However, groundnut bolds 60/70, javas 60/70, javas 70/80 and javas 80/90 remained flat on moderate demand by stockists.

In oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil, sunflower exp and sunflower exp ref edged down by Rs 5 per ten kg each on lower buying support by stockists.

RBD palm oil also became cheaper by Rs 6 amid poor demand.

In de-oiled cakes, groundnut extr slashed by Rs 250 per metric tonne (PMT) as traders were keen to sell their stocks, traders added.
