Exhibition pandal collapses due to heavy rains

Nashik, Oct 11 (UNI) An exhibition pandal collapsed at the Dongre Vastigruha ground in the city, due to heavy rains yesterday.

The pandal of ''Shopping Bonanza'', an exhibition organised by Rajasthani ladies here, collapsed due to heavy rains accompanied by strong winds last evening. Though only minor injuries were sustained by two persons in the incident, the organisers and stall owners suffered substantial losses.

Some hoardings were also damaged in the rains, that lasted for only 20 minutes.
