E-mail sender to kill Advani remanded to judicial custody
Shillong, Oct 11 (UNI) The Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court has rejected the bail plea of Monimul Haque, who had sent an e-mail in the name of Indian Mujahideen threatening to eliminate BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate L K Advani during his recent visit to Meghalaya.
Haque was produced in the court yesterday on completion of 14 days' policy custody and the Chief Judicial Magistrate remanded him to judicial custody.
Haque, a third-year student of Shillong Law College, was arrested on October 25 after he confessed of sending the e-mail to kill Advani during his public address on September 29, which was part of Mr Advani's nationwide Sankalp Yatra.
