DuPont launches new insect control product

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) DuPont Crop Protection today launched DuPont Coragen, a new insect control product that optimises the grower's potential to produce high quality, high-yielding crops.

Powered by Rynaxypyr, Coragen has high efficacy and an excellent environmental profile, setting a new standard for insecticides in India.

Coragen will initially be sold as an effective and integral part of lepidopteran pest management programmes for farmers growing rice, sugarcane, cotton and cole (cabbage and cauliflower) crops. In the future, the company expects to expand registrations to pulses, soybean, pigeon-pea and other vegetables as insect management was becoming more difficult for Indian farmers using traditional pest control products, a press release here said.
