Diarrhoea claims six in flood-hit Bihar
Madhepura, Oct 11 (UNI) At least six people, including three children, died of diarrhoea in the flood-hit Madhepura district in Bihar today.
Block Development Officer(BDO) of Ghellar Rahmatullah said three persons, namely Rashma Devi, Savis Sada and Panchu Ram, died of diarrhoea in Lakshminiyan Paschimi Tola of Jhitakiya Panchayat.
Meanwhile, the disease has also claimed lives of three children, identified as Kamal Kumar, Kavita Kumari and Karan Kumar, in Ramlahi gram panchayat of Shankarpur block.
The entire district has been gripped by diarrhoea since the flood water receded.
