Amitabh's fans offer prayer for his recovery

Indore, Oct 11 (UNI) The news of illness of megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is celebrating his 66th birthday today, has brought disappointment to his fans, who offered prayers for his speedy recovery.

Amitabh Bachchan Fans' Club Chairman Dayaram Gaud told UNI that the megastar's birthday was celebrated here by cutting a cake and remembering his acting skills.

A rally was planned initially, but was postponed after the news of his illness reached here and his admirers went to Khajrana Ganesh temple to offer prayers for his fast recovery.

Artist Virendra Mehra, who carves images on sand, created an image of the superstar, while Rajesh Swami made images of two houses of Amitabh Bachchan, 'Pratiksha' and 'Jalsa' on bottles.
