Thiruvanchoor selected for Namboothri memorial award

Thrissur, Oct 10 (UNI) Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishanan, MLA, has been selected for this year's K S Narayanan Namboothri memorial award.

The award carries Rs 10,000, a citation and a sculpture. It would be presented to him, on October 12 at Wadakkancherry at a function to be held in connection with the rememberence day of K S Narayanan Namboothri, by KPCC presdient Ramesh Chennithala.

The award was instituted by K S Narayanan Namboothri Foundation in memory of late Congress leader and former MLA K S Narayanan Namboothri, for the best performance of an MLA in the state.
