Thieves loot hundi, murder man

Hyderabad, Oct 10 (UNI) Thieves took away cash and gold from a hundi at the Katta Mysamma Temple at Shameerpet on the city outskirts after murdering a person who tried to prevent them from committing the crime.

According to police, unidentified persons last night broke open the hundi at the temple and took away the cash and gold in it.

When a 24-year-old person, sleeping in the temple premises, tried to prevent them, they hit him with an iron road leading to his death.

Clues teams and sniffer dogs were pressed into service to nab the culprits, police said.
