Southwest monsoon weak over Kerala, Lakshadweep
Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 10 (UNI) The southwest monsoon was weak over Kerala and rain occurred at some places in the State while no rain occurred in Lakshadweep.
A weather office release said here today Punalur recorded the highest rainfall of six cm.
The other chief amount of rainfall in cm were Kanjirappally and Perumbavur five each and Ottapalam, Chalakkudy and Kozha two.
Punalur recorded the highest maximum tempareture of 35 degree Celsius and the minimum 22 degree Celsius.
Rain would occur many places in Kerala and at some places in Lakshadweep, the release added.
