SMS Pharma opens oncology manufacturing facility

Hyderabad, Oct 10 (UNI) SMS Pharmaceuticals Limited opened a state-of-the-art and one-of-its-kind dedicated oncology manufacturing facility at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharmacy, near Visakhapatnam.

The facility, which was inaugurated yesterday, would have both API and formulations in a single complex built in an area of ten acres at a cost of Rs 50 crore, a company release said here today.

It offers great opportunities for the company to venture into finished dosage forms business segment and would ultimately lead to business associations with other market leaders in oncology segment, one of the fastest growing segments in drug industry, the release added.
