Put Nanavati report on NIC agenda: IML

New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) The Indian Muslim League today demanded that the National Integration Council, slated to meet here on October 13, discuss, among other things, the Justice Nanavati Commission's report on Godhra.

A release issued by the organisation suggested that the council also take up the 20-year sentence handed down to terrorist Mohd Soti by a TADA court, besides calling for an inquiry into the Batla House encounter.

The organisation also said the violence against the minority community across Orissa and Karnataka should be stopped immediately.
