Haryana to observe Rashtriya Sanklap Diwas

Chandigarh, Oct 10: The Haryana Government has decided to observe October 31, the death anniversary of former Prime Minister, the late Mrs Indira Gandhi as 'Rashtriya Sanklap Diwas' across the state.

In a letter issued by the Chief Secretary, all the Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners had been asked to organise rallies at all the district headquarters and other important towns on that day.

They have also been asked to seek the services of important persons for delivering speeches on national integration at official functions to be organised on that day.

Extracts from speeches of Mrs Gandhi should be highlighted at the functions.
