1 killed, 10 hurt as bus falls into canal

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 10 (UNI) One person was killed and ten injured, three critically, when a state-owned bus knocked down a woman and shot into a roadside canal near Annampalli Village between Muramalla and Amalapuram in Konaseema region today.

The bus was on its way from Razole to Kakinada when the accident occurred. Villagers rescued the passengers and rushed the injured to the area hospital at Amalapuram.

The Mummidivaram police, which registered the case, gave the name of the deceased as Guttala Pushpavalli of Annampalli Village.
