Two injured during immersion of Durga idol
Hajipur, Oct 9 (UNI) Atleast two people were injured in a shoot out during idol immersion of Goddess Durga at Harpurbelwa village under Mahuwa police station area here this evening.
Police Superintend Parasnath said that some anti-social elements opened fire during the immersion procession in which a child Gunja Kumari and another person Priyatam Prakash sustained bullet injuries.
The injured had been admitted at local hospital.
Raids were on to nab the miscreants, SP added.
