Chiranjeevi offers worship at Sun Temple

Srikakulam, Oct 9 (UNI) Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) founder, actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi, who is to kick off his mass concact programme in Andhra Pradesh tomorrow, offered worship to Sri Suryanarayana Swamy at the famous Sun Temple at Arasavilli today.

After offering worship, Mr Chiranjeevi met physically challenged persons from north coastal districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and orissa border villages in Itchapuram.

PRP Sava Samaykaya President Ch Venktaramayya said Chiranjeevi would tour the north Andhra districts of Vizianagaram, Srikiakalm and Visakhapatnam for eight days.

As there were rumours of early elections, Mr Chiranjeevi might not cover all the Assembly segments in north Andhra districts, he added.

Top TDP leaders from Visakhapatmam district, including G Srinivasa Rao, P G V R Naidu and C M A Zahir Ahmad and Minority Cell leaders Ali Moin and others have joined the PRP, he said.

Tight security would be provided throughout the Yatra to handle the crowds.
