Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 9 (UNI) Scores of devotees took a holy dip along with 'Lord Chakrathalavar' in 'Swamy Pushkarini' here this morning on the occasion of 'Chakrasnanam,' on the concluding day of Srivari Brahmotsavasams.
The pre-dawn ritual commenced at Ranganayakula Mandapam at Sri Venkateswara Temple where 'Pallaki Utsavam' and 'Choornabhishekam 'were performed to the processional deities by the temple priests.
Later, Lord Malayappa Swamy and His Consorts along with 'Sudharshana Chakram' were taken out in a procession early this morning to Sri Varahaswamy Temple on the banks of 'Swamy Pushakarini' where priests performed 'Snapana Thirumanjanam.' Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) Chairman D K Adikesavulu Naidu State Ministers K Jana Reddy and J Rathnakara Rao and TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary took part.
It is believed that a dip in 'Swamy Pushkarini' on the occasion of 'Chakrasnanam' will cleanse all sins and one can start his life afresh.
