3 of family killed as car hits truck

Raichur, Karnataka, Oct 9 (UNI) Three members of a family were killed and two injured when this car collided head-on with a truck at Jawalgar Village in the district.

Police identified the deaceased as Prasad Rao (45), his wife Lalitha (40) and daughter (14).

The victims were returning to Raichur after visiting the World Heritage Site Hampi last night.

The injured were admitted to the Raichur General Hospital where the condition of one of them was reported to be serious, the sources added.
