Vice President greets people on Dussehra

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Vice President M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people of the country on the occasion of Dussehra which signifies triumph of good over evil.

In a statement on the eve of the festival, the Vice President appealed to the people to celebrate the festival in its true spirit to usher in peace, prosperity and happiness.

"the traditional festivities and rituals of Dussehra reaffirm our faith in the sublime and universal values in life. It inspires us to strive towards a just, peaceful and harmonious society," he said.
