Special passport counter for Haj pilgrims

Hyderabad, Oct 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee executive officer Mohammed Siddique today clarified that the Special Passport Counter set up at the Haj house is meant only for the private Haj pilgrims, who intend to go for the pilgrimage through private operators.

According to a press release, the Haj pilgrims who had applied for the pilgrimage through the AP State Haj Committee and subsequently were selected in the draw of lots, would be issued Special Pilgrimage Passport at the time of their departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The selected Haj pilgrims were requested to make preparations for their journey and they need not apply for passport separately at the special counter, the release added.
