Security beefed up for Dussehra in MP
Bhopal, Oct 8 (UNI) In the wake of recent terrorist attacks in some parts of the country, Madhya Pradesh police have made elaborate security arrangements on the occasion of Dussehra tomorrow.
Inspector General of Police (Law&Order) Sanjeev Kumar told UNI here that additional police force have been deployed at about 12 district headquarters, including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Sagar.
Security arrangements had already been made in view of Navratri.
Superintendents of Police have been asked to exercise more caution in view of religious processions that are taken out during Dussehra tomorrow.
Besides, Rapid Action Force (RAF) has been deployed in sensitive areas, while Armed Police Force has been asked to remain prepared.
An eye was being kept on suspicious people in bus, railway stations and other public places.
