One injured, five shops gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar Oct 8 (UNI) One person was injured while five shops were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight in separate incidents, official soruces said today.
A scooterist was critically injured when he was hit by a security force vehicle near general bus stand at Batmaloo. He was admitted to hospital.
Fire broke out in a shop at Tarhama in north Kashmir district of Baramulla last night. However, before the fire tenders could control the flames, it engulfed five more shops, goods worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes.
The cause of the fire was not known, they said.
