Mumbai Mantra enters into JV with Puja Films
Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Mumbai Mantra, a 6.7 billion US dollars company sponsored by the Mahindra Group, country's one of top 10 industrial houses, has entered into a joint venture with Puja Films, to produce Onir's new film 'Sorry Bhai'.
The movie has been co-produced by Sanjay Suri and Onir's production house, Anti Clock Films.
It is a vibrant romantic comedy that marks the return of Bollywood's gorgeous actress Chitrangda Singh to silver screen. The movie brings together Shabana Azmi and Boman Irani in one of their best performances ever. While Sharman Joshi plays the regretful younger brother to Sanjay Suri, a release said here today.
Mumbai Mantra Chief Operating Officer Indranil Chakraborty said ''We are delighted to be associated with a renowned production house like Puja Films and a talented filmmaker like Onir, who has carved a niche for himself in Hindi cinema. 'Sorry Bhai' is expected to be released by the end of this year.'' Director Onir, who has earlier impressed with his films like 'My Brother Nikhil' and 'Bas Ek Pal', said ''I am grateful to Mumbai Mantra for having shown faith in me as a director. Mumbai Mantra is a great association and I am confident that with 'Sorry Bhai' this association will grow in times to come. This deal has given me immense happiness and an encouragement.'' The film sketches the story of a family, which has strong belief in happiness of the family members. Father and mother are inclined towards Indian values yet give away, when they see their two sons are hurt by the same. They make peace with changing times and allow them to live happily ever after, the release added.
