Minor siblings drown in pond

Howrah, Oct 8 (UNI) Minor siblings aged five and three years drowned in a pond at Sathmile under Uluveria police station in the district today.

Police said the kids left their home at 1600 hrs this afternoon to see Durga puja pandals when they slipped into the pond and drowned.

The bodies were recovered and sent for postmortems, police added.
