MCOCA court asks prosecution arguments on Gawli bail plea
Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) The special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court today directed the prosecution to file its arguments against the bail application filed by gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli in the Shiv Sena Corporator Kamlakar Jamsandekar murder case.
The court fixed October 16 for hearing on the petition.
Crime Branch has arrested 20 people in the case, including Prakash Sawla, Dinesh Narkar, Srikrishna Gurav alias Babu, Vijay Kumar Giri, Narendra Giri, Anil Giri, Ashok Jaiswal, Sahebrao Bhintude, Sadashiv Surve, Surendra Panchal and Sandeep Dongan.
They were booked under section 302 (murder) of Indian Penal Code (IPC), 3 (1)(ii), 3 (2), 3(4) and 4 of the MCOC Act and 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
