GRP seized morphine worth 1 crore in Barabanki

Barabanki, Oct 8 (UNI) The government Railway Police (GRP) today arrested four people and seized one kilogram of morphine from them at this district's railway station.

The GRP frisked four people sitting in recreation room on suspicion and seized the psychotropic substance worth rupees one crore in the international market, from their possesion police said.

The foursome were taking the consignment to a Kanpur-based trader.

The accused belonged to Barabanki.
