Drunken constable jailed

Raisen, MP, Oct 8 (UNI) A drunken constable was arrested and sent to the jail for creating farce in the district court premises, police said today.

Sub Divisional Police Officer Abha Toppo said that Rajesh Sharma reached the court at a hearing in inebriated condition and started shouting and abusing his seniors yesterday.

Acting on the court's directive, police apprehended him and took him to doctors for medical treatment. Later, he was produced in the court from where he was sent to the jail, police added.
