Baggit showcases Fall/Winter collection

Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Fashion brand Baggit displayed its fall/winter collection of bags and accessories here yesterday.

''We predict purple in its various shades is the colour of the season,'' said Baggit owner, Nina Lekhi.

The oversized bag range in wool and leather as base, displayed innovative felt printing with multiple prints and hues.

The clutch bag collection ranged from crystal encrusted cocktail clutches to sober mono coloured designs for corporate meetings or business travel purposes.

The show also marked the brand's entry into the men's accessory market, with actor Shawar Ali displaying a collection of hi-street backpacks and laptop bags.

The accessory collection included mobile holders, pouches, laptop cases, belts and sashes.

Also on display were a range concept bags that can be expected to hit the brands exclusive showrooms in the metros and Tier II towns by '09 season.

''After I walked the ramp with the Baggit collection, I wanted to walk away withh all the Baggit bags,'' said actor Vidya Malavde at the post-show party.
