Pondy experiences shortage of fertilisers

Puducherry, Oct 8: Stating the union territory was experiencing shortage of fertilisers,the Puducherry Agriculturists Association affiliated to the CPI on Wednesday, Oct 8 urged the administration to take immediate steps to tide over the situation.

In a statement on Wednesday, Oct 8, Association General Secretary T Geethanathan pointed out the farmers were being severely hit because of fertiliser shortage and urged the territorial administration to get the required stocks from the Centre for distribution to the farmers.
