Symantec to expand its footprint to 300 locations

New Delhi, Oct 7: Backup and security vendor Symantec Corporation on Tuesday, Oct 7 said it plans to expand its footprint to 300 locations by the current fiscal-end.

''...we have already started to ramp up our distribution network and we will expand to 300 locations, including all state capitals, by FY09'' company Vice President (Consumer Business, Asia Pacific and Japan) David Freer told reporters here. The company also announced the launch of the latest versions of its security products-- Norton Internet Security 2009 and Norton Antivirus 2009 -- for the Indian market.
