S N Vinod is 'Deshonnati' Group Editor

Nagpur, Oct 7 (UNI) Veteran journalist S N Vinod has taken over as Chief Editor and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Akola-based 'Deshonnati' chain of Marathi newspapers.

Mr Vinod would also be the Chief Editor of 'Rashtra Prakash,' a new Hindi daily planned to be launched by the group shortly from Nagpur and Mumbai, according to a release from the publication.

Prior to his present assignment, Mr Vinod was Editor of 'India News' television news channel, and based in New Delhi, it said.

He has been editor of 'Prabhat Khabar' (Jharkhand) and 'Nav Bharat' (Nagpur/Bhopal). His columns 'Manthan,' 'Takshak' and 'Bebaak' are popular among readers, it added.
