Left to adopt ''wait and watch approach'' on ties: Survaram
Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) will keep its options open on aligning with like-minded secular parties to dislodge the ruling Congress from power both at the Centre and in the State, CPI National Deputy General Secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy said today.
Talking to reporters after calling on CPI(M) National General Secretary Prakash Karat, who was here to attend the CPI(M) State Committee meet, he said ''we will adopt a wait and watch approach'' on the question of forging ties with non-Congress and non-BJP parties.
''We are having all our options open,'' said Mr Reddy who had a detailed discussion with Mr Karat on the political situation in the country and the State.
