Ganguly confirms getting kidnap threat
Bangalore, Oct 7 (UNI) Cricketer Sourav Ganguly today confirmed about getting threatening letter to kidnap his daughter.
Talking to newsmen after net practice, Ganguly, who is here to play the first test against visiting Australia beginning from October Nine, said that "Yes I have received threatening letter to kidnap my daughter Sana. But will speak later, not now." According to a report from Siliguri, quoting CID sources, Ganguly's wife, Dona got two letters, including one received ten days ago threatening to kidnap their daughter Sana for a ransom of Rs two crore.
The first letter one was sent by post to their residence a month ago, the sources informed.
The sources added that it was not clear who sent the letters but the Gangulys were worried after receiving the second letter and they appraoched the CID.
