BSP general secretary predicts Mayawati would be next PM
Rupnagar, Oct 7 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), General Secretary Narinder Kashyap today claimed that his party would bag 70 out of 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the next Lok Sabha elections and Ms Mayawati would be the next Prime Minister.
Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Kashyap said the Samajwadi Party, Congress and BJP would be wiped out in UP in the elections.
He predicted that a non-UPA, non-NDA, Third Front under the leadership of Ms Mayawati was in the offing and six national as well as regional parties had agreed on projecting the UP Chief Minister as the next Prime Minister.
He said there was a strong anti-SAD-BJP and anti-Congress wave in Punjab and the peole here were ready for a third party or front.
Earlier, Mr Kashyap addressed a rally organised by BSP in connection with the 'Pre-Nirwan Diwas' of party founder Kanshi Ram.
The rally was also addressed by Punjab BSP president Avtar Singh Karimpuri, general secretary Ajit Singh Bhaini, Rupnagar district president Kamal Saini and former district president Charanjit Singh Ghai.
On the occasion, former president of District Bar Association Sarabjit Singh announced his decision to join the BSP along with his supporters.
