Absconding undertrial caught in Siddharthnagar
Siddharthnagar, Oct 7: In a swift action, the police late last night managed to arrest an undertrial, who had escaped from its custody yesterday evening here.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Anil Kumar Das today, Rajesh Mahto of Bihar hoodwinked the cops and escaped, when he was brought in the district court on remand.
He was arrested by the sleuths of Trilokpur police station for smuggling drugs.
