2-day CPI executive in Hyderabad from Oct 26
Tirupati, Oct 7 (UNI) A two-day chief Executive meeting of the CPI will be held at Hyderabad from October 26, State Party Secretary Narayana said here today.
Addressing a press conference, he said various political issues including alliance with other parties in coming elections would be discussed in the meeting and the party's resolution would be submitted to the Central party office later.
In protest against sanctioning of huge land by the state government to an integrated industrial corridor with an industrial complex, port facility, power plant and associated infrastructural facilities at Nizampatnam in Guntur district, the party would observe agitation on October 15 at Chirala and on October 17 at Guntur collectorate office for non-sanctioning of house sites to the poor families, he said.
The party would make a survey over the loss of groundnut farmers due to drought on October 11 and 12 and the report would be submitted to the government for action, he said.
To a question, Mr Narayana said the party would join hands with like-minded people and will go in the next elections, he added.
