JK: Effigy of Pak President Zardari burnt
Baramulla, Oct 6: A group of about one hundred people burnt the effigy of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari for his reported statement that Kashmiri militants are terrorists. Official sources said despite curfew restrictions, one hundred people, mostly youth, took to the streets in the old town on Monday, Oct 6.
The demonstrators also raised slogans against Mr Zardari, demanding in apology from him.
They later set afire the effigy of Mr Zardari before dispersing peacefully.
