Lightning kills one, five including three women injured
Jamshedpur, Oct 6 (UNI) One person was killed and five others including three women were injured when lightning struck in different parts of West Singhbhum district, police said today.
According to police, one Dhani Budiwuli(35) died on the spot in Bistumpur village yesterday when lightning struck him. His seven- year-old daughter sustained burn injuries and was admitted to hospital.
In a similar incident, three women were also injured near Oraonsai village when they were returning after working in the fields. Another person was injured due to lightning in Kokacho village of the district.
