Lathi-charge on agitating PTA teachers

Shimla, Oct 6 (UNI) The Himachal Police resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the agitating Parent Teacher Association appointees teachers, who were protesting at state secretariat here today.

Demanding withdrawal of inquiry against them, over 1,000 PTA teachers gathered outside the state secretariat and tried to enter in the secretariat. However, the police dispersed them by resorting to lathicharge and arrested 8 teachers. Two teachers were injured in the incident.
