Jamiat protests against arrest of blast accused
Agartala, Oct 6 (UNI) Tripura State Jamiat Ulama (Hind) today demanded an end to ''harassment'' of a particular community in the name of investigation of the serial bomb blasts in Agartala on October 1.
Jamiat's local president Mufti Tayebur Rahman alleged that police had been harassing people without having any definite allegation.
Mr Rahman also alleged that police had stormed the house of Tripura State Jamiat Ulama (Hind) vice-president Abdul Bari Choudhury at Nandannagar on October 3 and conducted a search.
