Bank looted in Chhattisgarh
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Oct 6 (UNI) Three masked persons, armed with a countrymade gun and knife, looted Rs 55,000 today from a Regional Rural Bank branch at Nariyara 35 km from here on the Bilaspur-Pamgarh road, police said.
The looters entered the branch at 1500 hrs, looted Rs 50,000 from Manager R N Rai besides Rs 5,000 from a customer and then sped away towards this town on a black Hero Honda Passion motorbike.
