7 dead in road accident near Jaipur

Jaipur, Oct 6 (UNI) Seven people, including a couple and two women, were killed and 15 others injured in a collision involving a truck, tractor trolley and a motorcycle near Tatiawas on the Jaipur-Sikar Road tonight, police said here.

The mishap occurred when ill-fated tractory trolley in its bid to save a couple riding the motorcycle, lost control and rammed into the truck. The motorcycle also sandwitched between the two vehicles.

The tractor trolley was carrying pilgrims for paying obeisance at the Veer Hanumanji Shrine in nearby Samod.

Injured were rushed to the Chomu Hopsital from where they were referred to various hospitals here.

Thirteen of the injured were sent to SMS Hospital here, the sources said.
