2 PTA teachers injured, 8 held in protest
Shimla, Oct 6 (UNI) Two teachers were injured and eight arrested after the Himachal Police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the agitating Parent Teacher Association appointee teachers at state secretariat here today.
Demanding withdrawal of inquiry against them, over 1,000 PTA teachers gathered outside the state secretariat and tried to enter the secretariat. However, the police dispersed them by resorting to lathicharge and arrested 8 teachers. Two teachers were injured in the incident.
