Tata free to relocate Nano project in BJP-ruled states: Sinha
Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) Blaming the Marxist-led government in West Bengal for 'completely mismanaging' the situation, resulting in Tata Motors' decision to move out from its under-construction plant in Singur, Bharatiya Janta Party Vice-President Yashwant Sinha today said the Tatas' could choose any of the BJP-ruled states for setting up its Nano car project.
Talking to newspersons here, Mr Sinha said ''Tatas are free to set up its project in any of the BJP-ruled states. There will be no issue relating to land, either in Karnataka or Gujarat or Uttarakhand''.
The BJP handles land issues much better than the ''so-called worker-friendly Marxist government,'' he added.
The company had suspended the work on the Rs one-lakh car project following stiff opposition from the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal.
