Raj's effigy burnt in Nashik

Nashik, Oct 5 (UNI) Angry over remarks by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray against Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray, in an interview to a Mumbai tabloid, a group of Sainiks burnt Raj in an effigy at the Panchavati Karanja area of the city today.

Raj had alleged in the interview that Balasaheb Thackeray was not running the Shiv Sena and some other people were running the party.

''At present, editorials in the Sena mouthpiece 'Saamna', were not written by the Sena supremo himself but by someone else,'' Raj had claimed in the interview.

Raj had also openly praised Adolf Hitler in the interview.
