One dead, another injured in accident
Kolhapur, Oct 05 (UNI) One person was killed and another seriously injured when a scooty (moped), carrying them, collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction on the Kolhapur-Sangli State Highway, near Shiroli in the district today.
Police sources said that the incident occurred, when the moped was overtaking a autorickshaw, The duo was returning back to Ichalkaranji from Kolhapur.
The deceased was identified as Laxman Krushna Yadav (52) from powerloom town of Ichalkaranji and the injured was Bajirao Krushna Yadav, police added.
