National boxing camp to begin tomorrow
Chandigarh, Oct 5 (UNI) At least 66 boxers, including 22 from core group were expected to participate in the senior men's national boxing coaching camp which commences tomorrow at the National Institute of Sports in Patiala.
Eight coaches, including national coach from Sports Authority of India GS Sandhu, one physiotherapist, one videgrapher and one masseur have been attached with the national camp which will conclude on December 8.
The camp, organised by Indian Amateur Boxing Association, is in preparation for India's participation in the 29th International Tammer Boxing in Tampere (Finland) from October 16 to 19 and the World Cup to be held in Moscow from December 9 to 15.
The coach incharge of the camp has been directed to submit a complete training report of the coaching camp along with the names of the campers and coaches, indicating the date of joining and leaving the camp to the Incharge National camp within a week of the conclusion of the camp.
