Mahmoud Abbas to visit India on Oct. 6
New Delhi, Oct 5 : Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas will visit India on Monday.
According to reports, he is likely to discuss the issues related to West Asia peace process with Indian leaders during his visit to New Delhi.
The Palestinian leader is also expected to apprise the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, and other leaders about the latest developments in the region and recent his talks with Israeli leaders.
President Abbas is scheduled to meet President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice-President Mohommad Hamid Ansari, United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition L.K. Advani and other leaders during his visit.
