Loco derails on Howrah-Mumbai route
Satna, MP, Oct 5 (UNI) Train movement on the Howrah-Mumbai route's up track came to a standstill for about four hours after a locomotive derailed during shunting at the West Central Railway's Satna Station today, Railway sources said.
The locomotive derailed at noon. Senior officers of the Railway Division reached the spot. The Patna-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) Janata Express was halted until clearing of the track. The Manikpur-Katni Passenger train was cancelled. Some trains were halted at Jaitwara and Manikpur.
A Railway administration team was formed to probe the mishap.
