Cannabis worth Rs 1.5 lakh seized

Shillong, Oct 5 (UNI) The Border Security Force seized 10 packets of cannabis worth Rs 1.5 lakh from a bus at Golaghat district of Assam, a BSF official said today.

A statement issued here said the 16th battalion of the BSF patrolling party, on a tip-off, waylaid a night super bus near Pur Bangla under Golaghat district and recovered ganja hidden in the rear boot of the bus.

Meanwhile, investigation is on to nab the owner of the ganja.
