41 held in Mumbai bar raid

Mumbai, Oct 5: At least 41 people, including 16 bar girls, were arrested from a bar at Gurgaon in western suburbs here, for indulging in obscene activities and functioning after the stipulated time limit, people said.

Acting on a tip-off yesterday that the bar was working beyond the time limit and the girls were engaged in obscene activities to lure the customers, the Social Service Branch (SSB) of city police raided the bar and arrested 41 people, including 16 bar girls and the manager.

The sleuths also seized Rs 85,340 during the raid, police added.
